Helen Budimir-Hussey Spirit of Giving Award
Rotary Club of Lasalle-Centennial celebrated it's 4th birthday on February 23rd, 2009 and also presented it's inaugral Helen Budimir-Hussey Spirit of Giving award in memory of charter member and past treasurer Helen Budimir-Hussey who tragically passed away this year. The award consists of a plaque and annual recognition sign at the club for the winner as well as a donation of $ 220.00 on the winner's behalf to the Rotary Foundation. This year's winner was Kay Punter a dedicated volunteer for many local organizations including the downtown mission for a period spanning 30 years.
