Taylor Rotary - Hoedown Installation Event

The Taylor Rotary Club held their annual Installation Event.  This year President-Elect Ed & Betty Sell hosted a Hoedown at Apple Charlie's in Huron Twp.  Everyone had a rip roar'in time. DGE Neil & Cheryl were special inivited guests. Their was plenty of fellowship. One horse was present for all to say howdy. The Bull Roping Game was very popular - PDG Larry Wright was the winning roper.
After some great fixen's, President Armando thank all for their support and Service Above Self. He gave out several recognitions including the President's Citation to Janet Thompson. Then he introduced General Niven who presnted the coveted Minute Man Statue to Rotarian Phil Matous. Phil has led our club for many years to support the Michigan National Army Guard.  Afterthe presentation, he passed the Rotary Gavel To Ed Sell who then introduced his family.
Then DGE Nel inducted the Board and Ed Sell as President. After a very brief speech by Ed, the party began with square dancing.

This was a very nice event with a style that fits with our new President Ed Sell.
