PETS and DISTRICT ASSEMBLY     Both (Tentatively) Rescheduled for May 16, 2020

President-Elect Training Seminar (PETS). Because of COVID-19 D6400 canceled its participation in the Great Lakes Rotary President-Elect Training Seminar (GLRPETS).  (As it turns out, we correctly anticipated the risk and GLRPETS was completely canceled half-way through its second day.)  In order that the PEs are fully trained for their year we are offering a half-day condensed version of PETS on the afternoon of the District Assembly.   We ask each PE that registered for GLRPETS to send a copy of their receipt showing the Hotel charge to District Trainer PDG Rick Caron rcaron@uwindsor.ca.  We are working through different scenarios for refunds and this depends on what concessions might be made by the hotel.

District Assembly (DA):  We have cancelled the April 18, 2020.

Combined PETS and DA:  We are hoping to run a combined PETS / DA on May 16, 2020 at Wayne County Community College, 21000 Northline Road, Taylor, MI.  DG Noel and PDG Rick are developing plans for alternative training methods should it be wise / necessary to also cancel the May 16 date. 

There will be some changes, for example, we are starting the event a bit later and will not be serving breakfast.  Consequently, the registration fee has been eliminated.
