October 24th was World Polio Day!  District 6400 Rotarians worked hard to create awareness and raise funds to help End Polio Now!

World Polio Day Happenings for District 6400: 

October 19th.  Detroit’s Knock Down Polio bowling event.




October 24th  Monroe, Carleton, Dundee and Flat Rock Rotary Clubs presented a 5-7pm event,  dinner, speakers and Live stream event.





October 24th 5-9pm Grosse Ile Rotary Club’s Pig and Corn Roast was a huge success










Rotary Clubs of Lenawee County had a luncheon with PDG Bob Gallagher and DGE Noel Jackson  






October 24th.  Haunting at Market Center Park presented by Rotary Club of Southgate
was lots of fun!





Dearborn Rotary had a fundraiser at their club meeting

World POLIO Day. Past President & Member, District Rotary Foundation Committee, Rotarian Jude Chigbo joined by his Spouse & Club Treasurer, Rotarian Rita Chigbo, both represented the Rotary E-Club of D6400-Global as it collaborated with the Rotary Club of Winnipeg (the club which made Rotary International in 1910) in a POLIO RIDE, to raise funds and END POLIO NOW. Jude & Rita raised over C$800 (eight hundred) towards this target.





Leamington Rotary Club presents:  Knock Down Polio bowling event at Empire Lanes in Ruthven, ON on Friday, Nov. 8, 7:30-9;30 pm.  Bowling cost is $25 CDN per game including taxes and shoes.  $8 per game will go to End Polio.  Wear purple to show your support and raise awareness.  RSVP required llucierorawski@gmail.com.
