Hines Park PM Rotary brings Hawaii to Michigan with The Big Luau Wedding Event benefits First Step and Rotary club’s community service projects
DEARBORN, Mich. (July 25, 2017) – You won’t need to book airfare or a hotel in Hawaii to experience a luau reception and wedding. The Hines Park PM Rotary Club is bringing a wedding reception like no other to Michigan, along with a “yet to be revealed” bride and groom.
Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Dearborn Heights, The Big Luau Wedding will be held from 6 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at the Joy Manor on Saturday, August 19, 3017. Joy Manor Banquet Center is located at 28999 Joy Road in Westland.
The wedding reception will include a tin can raffle and live entertainment by the Hoaloha Polynesian dance group and the band, Emerging Soul. Guests will be able to enjoy a traditional Hawaiian pig roast or choose from a halal Hawaiian chicken dish, vegetarian option, and a premium open bar. “Get your tickets in advance and don’t wait for an invitation; everyone is invited to join us,” said Carrie Thorpe, 2017-18 president of Hines Park PM. “We promise a summer evening spectacular filled with surprises. No tuxes and evening gowns required. You’ll have to attend to find out the couple selected to be the bride and groom.”
Proceeds from The Big Luau Wedding will benefit community service projects of the Hines Park PM Rotary Club and First Step, a non-profit agency in out-Wayne County that provides comprehensive services to victims of domestic and sexual abuse.
Tickets for the event are $55 each or $400 for a table of eight. Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance at www.bit.ly/bigluauwedding, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 313-529-1153.
